Tips and questions
- Can I make the walnut sauce ahead?
- Yes, it keeps for 3 days in the fridge; loosen it with a little water before using as it thickens.
- What if I can’t find fenugreek?
- Leave it out or use a little khmeli suneli blend; the salad is still great with just coriander and garlic.
- What do Georgians serve it with?
- It sits on every supra table next to grilled meat (mtsvadi), khachapuri and fresh bread.
