Add the chorizo and the potatoes, cut into chunks by breaking rather than slicing.

Tips and questions
Can I use canned beans?
Yes, add about 500 g of drained cooked beans for the last 20 minutes. The broth will be a little less creamy.
What if I cannot find turnip greens?
Use kale, Savoy cabbage or green cabbage. Turnip greens are slightly bitter; cabbage makes a milder caldo.
Does it keep well?
It is better the next day and keeps 3 days in the fridge. You can freeze it, but the potatoes go grainy.
